The Assistant Director of Nursing, in conjunction with the DON, is responsible for:
  • Setting and upholding the standards for Excellent Patient-Centered Care and Customer Service
  • Ensuring Clinical Excellence and Regulatory Compliance – Monitoring Quality Measures, creating/updating and enforcing policy and procedures, and ensuring that practices meet and exceed State Health and Joint Commission standards.
  • Managing Staff, including Hiring, Training, continuing education, discipline, termination, and all related administrative duties.
  • Working with the Admissions and Social Services Teams to ensure all admissions and discharges are handled expertly.
  • Establishing Family communication standards for all nursing staff.
  • Other projects and duties as necessary and assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • RN or LPN currently licensed to practice in the state of Indiana.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years nursing experience long term care preferred.
  • Demonstrated Leadership, Supervisory, and Communication skills required.
  • Basic business computer knowledge / electronic charting preferred.
