Provides system-wide, level II IT user support and desktop for Community Healthcare System.  The job includes answering phone calls and acknowledges online user requests to Help Desk. Resolves Level I and Level II incidents as defined by CFNI’s Help Desks Incident Management Process, This position will include the completion of project tasks as it relates to desktop activities, which may include monitoring hardware and workstation software to establish and maintain documented standards within the Community Healthcare System. The Desktop Support Technician II will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and documentation of personal computer hardware, printers and terminals under the management of the facility.  The Desktop Support Technician II must be able to escalate and report issues on a timely manner to PMO, Desktop Support Manager, or Incident Management Manager.  To qualify you must have:

  • Minimum of Associates Degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experience required. 
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, upgrade and support various desktop Operating Systems, MS Office applications including Windows 7.0/XP/Vista, MS Outlook, and Internet on desktops/laptops required.
  • 3 + years desktop work experience required.
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Proven ability to interact with non-technical users at all levels within an organization.
  • Experience using ticket remedy system, iSupport help desk ticket system a plus.
  • MS Certified Professional certification preferred.
  • A+ Certification preferred.
  • Desktop healthcare experience preferred
  • Must have reliable transportation to work at offsite locations.
