Responsibilities include initiation of pre-registration and pre-admission processes for the outpatient joint venture facilities. Contact insurance carriers to determine benefits and self-pay amounts due on the outpatient services prior to the date of service. Ensures that all third party payor requirements are met for all elective admissions.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Computer knowledge PC keyboarding skills required
  • \t
  • Basic medical terminology with health insurance knowledge including experience with Managed Care required.

  • One year business related experience preferred and must demonstrate ability in communication and problem solving
  • \t
  • Ability to operate admitting equipment including a CRT, printer, fax and photocopy machine.
