Maintenance Construction Worker – CVI Hartsfield Village (Community Healthcare System)

Full-Time: 8:00am – 4:30pm, occasional weekends 
Job duties include various general maintenance assignments: carpentry, plumbing, masonry, electrical, painting, installing appliances, loading and unloading equipment/material, and preventative maintenance. 
  • Builds items (e.g. counters, temporary partitions, etc.) for special projects of the facility
  • Coordinates with assigned lead and/or supervisor and other employees for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently
  • Maintains tools and equipment
  • Completes projects within established time frames
  • Processes written materials (e.g. work orders, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities and/or conveying information
  • Repairs a variety of equipment, systems, and/or structural items
  • Requests equipment and supplies for the purpose of ensuring availability of items required to complete the assigned task
  • Performs work/repair work on floors
  • Removes cabinets and installs new cabinets
  • Complete renovations of units
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in general maintenance field
  • Proficient in the areas of drywall installation, taping, wallpapering, painting, and plumbing
  • Ability to work with lighting and electrical units and familiar with carpentry
  • Ability to work independently and with a team, completing projects and requests in a timely manner
  • Excellent work ethic
