IMCU Description:
The Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) is a 19 bed unit. We have a Clinical Nurse Leader available on the unit Monday through Friday during the day. There is also a Resource LPN available during the day to answer phones and assist the staff with various tasks. The nursing staff is ACLS certified and a code nurse is assigned each shift to assist in response to codes throughout the hospital. Telemetry monitors are used on all patients. The nursing staff is trained to monitor the various cardiac drip medications, take care of patients who have had open heart surgery, CAPD patients, post MI, or have various other cardiac/respiratory issues.

•       Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
•       Current professional licensure by the State of Indiana Health Professions Bureau.
•       BSN desirable.
•       Obtains and maintains current CPR certification.
