The Registry Speech Therapist is a qualified professional who provides speech therapy to patients in varying states of health and illness.  Speech Therapists work with the full range of human communication – evaluating and diagnosing speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders and treats such disorders in individuals of all ages.  Speech therapist provides direct patient care preventing the onset, symptoms, and progression of impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities that may result from disease, disorders, conditions or injuries.   
•         Graduate from an accredited school holding a Master's Degrees in Speech Pathology.
•         Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology granted by the American Speech and Hearing Association. 
•         License/Registration/Certification: Indiana Licensure, CPR certification current, BLS Course C (Basic Life Support).
•         Must have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with frequent interruption.
•         Must demonstrate self-assessment, initiation, and the ability to work collaboratively on a team. 
•         Must have a customer service orientation and ability to communicate and listen effectively. 
•         Must demonstrate flexibility and the ability to accept change. 
•         A basic understanding of federal and state regulations regarding billing, compliance, documentation, and supervision of support staff as they relate to the practice of relevant discipline. 
•         Maintains knowledge of professional practice issues/changes locally and nationally.
