POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY: Functions in a specialized area of nursing related to research protocols, which includes assessing patients, collecting data, overseeing research protocols and submitting appropriate information to sponsoring agencies. Establishes goals and priorities in accordance with patient and protocol needs and organizational objectives.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Maintains current professional licensure by the State of Indiana Health Professions Bureau
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in Critical Care Nursing or Clinical Trials.
- Minimum 1 year experience in Cath Lab preferred
- Current BLS, and ACLS certification
- IATA certification within 6 months of hire date
- Computer skills necessary (i.e. Word, Excel, Data Base management)
- Experience in Cardiovascular Data Registries preferred
