Location:  Munster,  IN

Reporting to the Desktop Support Manager, the IT Intern provides system-wide telephone support functions for Community Healthcare System and Community Foundation of Northwst Indiana, Inc.  Job duties include responding to and processing of IT incidents and requests primarily by telephone.  Prioritizes and resolves Level I incidents as defined by CFNI's Help Desk Incident Management process.  Additional responsibilities include answering and directing internal and external telephone calls.
To quality you must have:
  • Actively working towards a Bachelors degree with completion of a technical course or recent graduate in the area of Information Technology required. Current College or recent College grads will only be considered
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills.   
  • Good trouble-shooting skills and being able to multi-task. 
  • A strong understanding of computer based software. 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. 
  • Good previous work history required.
  • Must be able to work independently and on a team.
  • Must have reliable transportation and flexible to drive to CHS facilities.
