The Nurse Manager is responsible for the planning, staffing, organizing, and coordination of the day-to-day and long-term operations of the Post Anesthesia Care Unit and the Surgical Admission Unit. Under the direction of the Director of Patient Care Services, the Manager collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary professional staff to develop and implement the policies, procedures, and standards of the units. The Nurse Manager provides physical and psychological support for patients and families and assures the highest quality and standards of care for the patients on the units.
Education:
- Licensed Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Indiana.
- Bachelor Degree preferred with 3-5 years of unit specific experience.
- Prior supervisory/management experience highly desirable.
- Maintains current CPR Certification and safety and infection control validations
