REHABILITATION AND NURSING CARE DESCRIPTION:
Hartsfield Village is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) that celebrates the full continuum of life and promotes successful aging. Our post-acute rehabilitation program offers state-of-the-art technology and advanced rehabilitation techniques to help our patients achieve maximum function and independence. Our on-going staff education and training, and thorough knowledge in post-acute rehabilitation pathways and protocols ensure highly skilled professionals ready to serve patients with complex medical needs. The Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing building has a total of 112 beds (16 LTC, 96 Skilled Nursing)

 Areas of Responsibility:
  • Must know all aspects of basic personal care, medication administration, treatment procedures, as well as preventive, restorative and therapeutic techniques.
  • Knowledge of medical asepsis and sterile technique.
  • Must have interest in and be able to communicate effectively with aged and ill residents with variety of chronic illnesses or emotional disorders.
  • Also able to communicate effectively with visitors, supervisor and co-workers.
  • Able to work under direct supervision of Lead Charge Nurse.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of resident condition and personal affairs.
  • Basic business computer knowledge preferred. 
Qualifications and Experience:
Registered Nurse licensed to practice in the state of Indiana. Must have completed a state approved medication course. Minimum of one-year nursing experience in acute, or long term care preferred.
