Our post-acute rehabilitation program offers state-of-the-art technology and advanced rehabilitation techniques to help our patients achieve maximum function and independence. Our on-going staff education and training, and thorough knowledge in post-acute rehabilitation pathways and protocols ensure highly skilled professionals ready to serve patients with complex medical needs. The Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing building has a total of 112 beds (16 LTC, 96 Skilled Nursing).
Qualifications and Experience:
We are seeking an experienced Scheduling Coordinator to manage the scheduling of our rehab skilled nursing staff. Job responsibilities include nursing payroll. KRONOS Time & Attendance experience helpful. High school graduate with some college or technical school preferred. Minimum of 6 months prior scheduling and payroll experience is required, preferably in a long term care setting.
Areas of Responsibility:
• Using provided staffing patterns to plan monthly nursing schedule for all direct care staff, ensuring the proper number of licensed and certified staff are scheduled for each shift
• Making daily changes to schedule based on needs and preparing daily staffing sheets for each shift and unit, posting copies in advance
• Actively attempting to fill vacant shifts with facility employees by posting advance notices and contacting on-duty and off-duty personnel
• Using facility approved agencies to fill vacant shifts when needed
• Conveying to staff proper ways to make schedule requests and incorporating staff requests when planning schedule
• Obtaining call-in slips and tracking absenteeism and tardiness, providing Director of Nursing with the information for counseling and retention purposes
• Monitoring nursing staff timecards, adding missed punches, pick up bonuses, PTO/PTO Call Offs, and paid adjustments to employee’s timecard as necessary
