    POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY    Under the general supervision of the Cath Lab Manager and/or the Administrative Team, the Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of the Cath Lab. The Supervisor assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the day-to-day schedule, supplies/equipment needs and staffing levels in order to provide quality patient care. Communicates with and functions as liaison between staff, physicians, management, nursing, and all ancillary departments for the coordination of services.
     
     
    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: •          Graduate of an A.R.R.T. certified school of radiological technology.
    •          Must be ARRT registered.
    •          Must have a current license to operate radiologic equipment in the State of Indiana.
    •          2-3 years of experience in Cardiac Catheterization/EP, Interventional Radiology Lab or Special Imaging preferred.
    •          Prior experience in charge role within a Cath Lab/EP department preferred.
    •          Should have a working knowledge of Angiographic procedures and EP procedures along with sterile techniques.
    •          Current certification in Basic Life Support (CPR) required.
    •          Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required within 6 months from starting date. OR
    •          Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current license by Indiana State Board of Nursing.
    •          Bachelors Degree in the Science of Nursing preferred.
    •          2-3 years of experience in Cardiac Catheterization/EP, Interventional Radiology Lab or Special Imaging preferred.
    •          Prior experience in charge role within a Cath Lab/EP department preferred.
    •          Should have a working knowledge of Angiographic procedures and EP procedures along with sterile techniques.
    •          Current certification in Basic Life Support (CPR) required.
