This position is responsible for leading and guiding the team of Engagement Center representatives and fielding/resolving escalated telephone calls and other contact methods in the Engagement Center. As well as acting as an experienced resource for select representatives.  Expectations of this role include providing functional and administrative support to supervisors and managers, providing exceptional customer service, treating all callers and employees with dignity and respect, striving to anticipate and meet the needs of Community Healthcare System patients, and working collaboratively with other contact center staff to achieve quality and performance standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
    \t
  • Minimum of HS Diploma or GED; college degree preferred.  
  • \t
  • 3-5 experience in registration, scheduling, patient access, hospital admissions or related field with a working knowledge of the Revenue Cycle practices and procedures.
  • \t
  • Call center experience required.
  • \t
  • Demonstrated success leading in a team based environment. 
  • \t
  • Knowledge of government and insurance payers admission and billing regulations.
  • \t
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • \t
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • \t
  • Ability to learn and work with various computer software programs.
  • \t
  • Is able to work independently on multiple projects with a variety of deadlines.
  • \t
  • Intermediate MS Office skills: Word, Outlook, Excel.
