Job Description: Patient Guidance Attendant is required to greet patients and provide legendary guest service and patient care for individuals entering & exiting the entrances. The attendant practices safety standards while parking/retrieving, escorting, transporting, and interacting with guests and visitors, to ensure patient satisfaction. The Patient Guidance Attendant is knowledgeable of the different areas on the property and understands the importance of getting the patient there on time. The attendant is responsible for ensuring that they provide the best possible service while parking vehicles or escorting visitors to their desired locations. The PGA is also responsible for expediting parking, securing vehicles and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the area as well. They ensure the area is stocked with wheelchairs and all supplies needed to provide flawless service. Duties are performed under the supervision of the Manager of Valet Services.
Education/Experience:- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to drive manual transmission preferred
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license for a minimum of one year and a sustained driving record that meets department requirements as outlined in the MVR Criteria
- For insurance purposes, must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous Customer Service or Patient Care experience required
- Ability to understand instructions and communication with patients and staff
- Must be able to speak, read and write standard English language, comprehend simple instructions and memos
